The money that you would pay to the agent for selling your house could by you a brand new one. On the average home that sales for 250,000 you would pay a total of 15,000 to Realtors. Why not save some of that money and offer the rest to a buyer to make your home a lot more competitive. Or price the home lower to attract more buyers. The problem that we are having in this market is not just the economy but inventory. Inventory is at an all time high. Which means buyers have a lot more to choose from. So you as the seller have to offer more than the other seller to make your home stand out. There are so many homes built like yours in this market why would a buyer choose your home over the other hundreds of homes for sale in your area.
